He was a dedicated physician, outstanding scientist, generous mentor, and great friend. Dr David Rosenbaum will be sorely missed.

Thank you Dr. Pina for such a moving tribute to a great physician, researcher, and mentor. I was fortunate to meet Dr. Rosenbaum about 12 years ago in Haifa where I was working with a small start-up company on a device for the treatment of heart failure. Several things impressed me about Dr. Rosenbaum: his keen intelligence, his encyclopedic knowledge of just about everything, AND his patient kindness in dealing with questions from a biomedical engineer struggling with cellular microdynamics. Since then, I would occasionally bump into Dr. Rosenbaum at meetings and he always had a few minutes to share news. We will all miss Dr. Rosenbaum.

Sin dudas es una gran pérdida. Nunca tuve la posibilidad de conocer personalmente al profesor Rosenbaum, sin embargo a gigantes como él se les sigue y admira desde la distancia. Desde ahora seguirá siempre cercano.
