American Airlines makes strides to educate on deep vein thrombosis

American Airlines deserves credit for the section in its inflight magazine "Your personal health: Deep vein thrombosis." It's a step in the right direction to educating the flying public about DVT and pulmonary embolism, including discussion of symptoms and ways to reduce risk.

If they were so concerned, they'd make an effort to make sure it's actually possible to get up and move around on their overcrowded planes.  Please, American Airlines is completely disingenuous.
