AMPLIFY-Extension: What to do with PE and DVT patients after the initial period of anticoagulation

The exciting results of the AMPLIFY-Extension trial, just released at the American Society of Hematology meeting, show the efficacy of apixaban—with lower bleeding rates than placebo—for the treatment of PE and DVT in patients following an initial six- to 12-month period of standard anticoagulation.

Will you plan to extend anticoagulation to this patient set based on this study?
